Looking for an easier, stress-free way to share rides to and from campus? Ann Richards School has been selected as a pilot campus for SchoolPool by ConnectSmart (developed in partnership with Movability)—a secure carpool app designed specifically to address our community’s transportation needs.
SchoolPool connects trusted ARS families through a private campus network to share the daily school run. With real-time route optimization, verified parent drivers, and secure in-app coordination, getting our students to school safely and efficiently just got much simpler.
How It Works:

Safe & Verified: Every participating parent driver must be an approved volunteer, ensuring our students travel only with trusted members of our school community.

Flexible Daily Scheduling: Whether you can drive every morning or just need a pickup on alternating afternoons, the app matches drivers and student riders based on actual daily demand.

Nightly Auto-Matching: Parents log their availability by 9:00 PM the evening before. The platform automatically balances routes and student riders, sending out your finalized morning or afternoon commute schedule by 9:30 PM.

Safety comes first. All participating families must complete the district’s quick, 15-minute background check for the current school year.

To protect our school community, the app requires a private ARS group access code. Please complete our short interest form so we can verify your VOLY clearance and immediately send you our private ARS sign-up QR code.:
