The Scholarship Committee supports the advancement of higher education of the Ann Richards School students by providing one scholarship each year to a graduating senior in the amount of $4000, paid over four (4) years, or $1,000 per year (updated Jan. 2016 from $2,000 at $500 per year). The money provides partial payments for college tuition, fees and books. The Scholarship Committee raises money through:
- Gifts to the Scholarship Fund
- PTSA support
- Endowed scholarships or one-time scholarships created by individuals, families or groups in honor or in memory of a person, cause or event.
All high school seniors, who are members of the PTSA, are eligible for the scholarship.
